Kathleen Laverty has an extensive knowledge of animal behavior. Over 14 years experience evaluating dogs, cats, goats, alpacas and horses for therapy work. This experience helps her put your pet at ease and stress free to get the best photos. She is a Co-founder of a non-profit pet therapy organization – Caring Hearts Pet Therapy.
Kathleen has a BS Degree in Art from Pennsylvania State University and additional photography training through attending various National Geographic photographic seminars and a 10 day National Geographic photography expedition to the Isle of Skye in Scotland led by Sr. National Geographic Photographer, Jim Richardson.
Kathleen owns a horse farm since 2004. The Laverty Farm is a available for photo sessions for your pet. Provides a safe, fun and secure environment to show your pet’s personality and athleticism. It’s centrally located in South Central Pennsylvania along the Susquehanna River with easy access to Carlisle, Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, Reading and York.

averty Farm is a working farm with horses, goats, alpacas and chickens. Access to over 4 acres of securely gated and fenced fields to allow your pet to safely play, run and just be a pet which provides for many opportunities for great photos! Agility equipment is available for dogs and horses as well as water sports for dogs. There is also a large 36’x60′ studio barn with penty of natural light.
Kathleen has also traveled extensively throughout South Central Pennsylvania and can help you choose the best location for photos desired.
